When you catch a rainbow trout, a battle ensues both below and above the water. They're notorious for their acrobatics. I never caught them actually out of the water, but it's very exciting!

There were also a few fish other than rainbow trout caught... Tom Lea shows off a sunfish.



The river is quite scenic and incredibly dense in flora. Some sections like these were hardly fishable because of the swift water and tight quarters... more paddling than casting was necessary.
