Puppies!

13 is the lucky number. She dropped 3 so fast she didn't have time to take care of them all. I had to help her by breaking the sac on one of them and getting it to breathe. Kind of exciting. After 7 there was a long pause and I thought she might have been done. I actually went back up to the office when Tabitha called and said "10". I checked on them when I went to bed and there were still just 10. Next morning... 13. Whew... it's gonna be tough to feed that many mouths!
I dug 4 posts, cemented them, built a frame and attached tin to it. Then put the roof on the posts... all that in one night. Should keep the rain off of em, though. There's still plenty of work to be done on that part of the yard.
The pups seem to be contented so far.
Ginger's a good mama dog and is holding up ok so far. She's eating 4 times her normal diet of food, though!
shelby is curious but Ginger doesn't like her to get close, so she's out of the pin for the next few weeks.
May 5th is when I took these next few pictures... 2 weeks old!

... and one video.
